Abstract

Physics is now defined as the science of the most general laws of natural phenomena. This term was introduced by Aristotle in the 4th century BC. One of his treatises was called "Physics". According to Aristotle, Physics is the key to understanding the world.

The modern scientific approach to physical research started from the works of the Italian scientist Galileo Galilei, who was born on 18 February 1564. Galileo set up and developed a scientific experiment. It must be noted that physical experiments had been conducted before Galileo, but they were no different from simple everyday observations.
