Abstract

The Gamow conferences at Odesa University started on the 90^th anniversary of George Gamow's birthday in 1994. The next conference was held 5 years later in 1999. A great interest in the conference, expressed by scientists representing various scientific fields, led to the decision to hold such conferences every year starting from 2000. The 23^rd conference was held online at the Astronomical Observatory of Odesa I. I. Mechnikov National University and set a record in the number of participants and presented reports.
